OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Max van der Stoel Award- Call for Nominations
The Organization for Security and Co-operation (OSCE) High Commissioner on National Minorities together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, launched the Max van der Stoel award to recognise extraordinary achievements in improving the position and rights of national minorities in the OSCE participating States. The winning person, group or institution will be awarded a prize of €50,000.
A call for nominations has been made by the (OSCE) High Commissioner on National Minorities and with a deadline on the 3rd of April 2020.
After receiving the nominations, a special jury of distinguished experts will choose the winner and the award will be presented in November at a ceremony in the Hague.
All those who are interested are encouraged to contact the OSCE institutions, field missions and delegations of the OSCE participating States, as only they can nominate a candidate directly to the office of the High Commissioner on National Minorities.
